Building a website is no longer just for computer geeks. WordPress makes it possible for anyone to create and run a professional looking website. The goal of this class is to help you build a website in a few short hours, even if you’re an absolute beginner. You will learn to use the WordPress dashboard, create pages and posts, create a static homepage, and create a responsive website that looks professional! By the end of the class you will be building great looking websites and be confident as you update and maintain it for years to come. Join us in the computer lab, or bring your own laptop. This class will work with any web browser.

This 180-hour course will prepare you to work in a nursing home, hospital, or a home healthcare setting. This 12-week class includes preparation for and taking the State of Maine Competency Exam as well as qualifying to work in both Maine and New Hampshire facilities. Prerequisites include: proof of high school completion or senior in good standing, I.D. (driver’s license and social security card), two letters of recommendation, and a reading level of at least 9th grade (assessment will be given as part of the interview process). Cost includes books, lab materials and exam fee.

Excel 13 Workshop Series 1 - Home or Business Use
