Many embroidering enthusiasts started when they were children, and they have fond memories of learning from their parents or grandparents. This class teaches basic hand stitching for ages 10 and up. You will learn to use scissors safely, trace patterns, and how to select the right thread and needle. You will complete a small embroidered piece to frame or use as part of a larger project. Kit included in cost of class. Materials needed: fabric scissors and a plastic container to keep your project in. Maximum is 6.
