This 4-week class is for students who have had some experience in painting, and who want to learn more complex color theory, paint mixing and composition techniques. Class time will include time for experimentation, creativity and the opportunity to work on your own projects with guidance from the instructor. 

Beth brings a wealth of experience and creativity to guide you as you make your own piece of hammered silver jewelry.  You may choose to create earrings, pendants or rings. Kits for sale. 

**Bring a hand towel to work on and any jewelry tools that you might have.

Materials fee: $10 per piece, payable to the instructor.

In this class, students will create 6 book structures: a simple pamphlet book, a Japanese Stab Bound book, a basic Codex, a hardcover accordion book, a hardcover book with signatures sewn on tapes, and flutter books.  Class will focus on the techniques, structures, tools, materials and processes.

A materials fee of $8 is due at the start of class to the instructor.
