Zumba - 6 Sessions
with Maribel Deprese

NACE is excited to welcome back instructor Maribel Despres and her zumba classes!
Join Maribel at Noble High School in North Berwick, where you can take the “work” out of workout! She mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for a calorie-burning dance fitness party. Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. There will be class sessions offered Monday evenings.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes with little to no tread to reduce twisting knee joints.

Ceramic Ornaments
with CYNTHIA PLAISTED

So many families have the wonderful holiday tradition of collecting new ornaments for each family member every Christmas. This year, add some handmade ornaments to your collection in this fun and festive ceramics class! The first class will be for ornament creation; the second class will be focused on glazing those ornaments; and the third class we will add ribbon or twine hangers to finish your lovel creations!
*$12 for supplies payable to the instructor. Supplies fee includes creating 10-12 ornaments with glaze and ribbon/twine.

Make a Holiday Wreath or Kissing Ball
with ELIZABETH GOODY

Looking for a fun night out with your girlfriends or significant other? Back by popular demand, Beth returns with her ever-popular “Holiday Wreath or Kissing Ball” class! Join Beth at the Hanson School in Lebanon for an aroma-filled evening as she helps guide you through creating your own seasonal wreath or kissing ball. Using fresh cut greens that Beth collects, she will show you how to create a balanced piece with embellishments that you can bring yourself or purchase from Beth.
Materials fee is $25 and payable to the instructor the night of class.
Self Defense for the General Public
with Emma Wyatt
This class will focus on basic self defense concepts that someone who has not attended martial arts classes would be able to perform. It will also help you start to build confidence in yourself. This is a starter class and there are more options after this for people if they would like.
Holiday Make-And-Take Series
with Jane Parsons

Make memories that will last a lifetime for your loved ones. Each week, instructor Jane Parsons will guide you through creating a beautiful and unique ornament. For two of the three projects, you will not need a sewing machine. Materials list for each class coming soon.
Nov 30: Scandinavian Star Ornament
Create a beautiful, intricate, Scandinavian Star Ornament to decorate your tree or give away as a gift. Choose to use the same fabric or contrasting fabric for a different effect.
No sewing machine required!
Dec 7: Wreath Ornament
Create a cute mini fabric wreath from old fabric scraps from your stash (either the same fabric or contrasting fabrics). To finish the project, you will hand-stitch a cute, decorative button on each piece of the wreath.
No sewing machine required!
Dec 14: Memory Angel
Keep your loved ones close this holiday season and create a beautiful memory angel. These angels can be made from quilting fabrics, or if you have a piece of a loved ones clothing you would like to use, that is also welcome.
A sewing machine will be needed for this class.

Beginner Rug Braiding - Mug Rug

Have you ever wanted to learn how to do rug braiding? NACE is excited to welcome longtime rug braider, Pam, to the Fall program to share how fun and easy rug braiding can be. In this beginner rug braiding class you will learn how to make a Mug Rug. You will learn how to begin a circular rug that is a continuous mat. When you have completed this small mat, a larger chair pad or rug can be made with these skills.
Class is limited to 4 per session
Kit fee is $12 and payable to the instructor the night of class.
Taming Your "To Do" List
with Jill Braceland

Identify techniques that will help you organize your personal time. Suggestions offered include prioritizing, creating the “To Do” list, and how we underestimate time. Tips on how to stop procrastinating and being overwhelmed will also be discussed.
