Bringing Community Together, One Step At A Time

Since 2001, we have opened our doors to welcome community members to walk our multiple indoor and outdoor walking routes throughout the Noble High School property. Indoor routes range from 1/3 to 1/2 mile. If you’re up for a challenge, you have the option of including stairs in your workout. The outdoor routes are about a mile in distance. This is a great way to get in some exercise, especially during the cold New England months. Bring a friend or come as a family. All are welcome! Not to mention, joining is FREE!

To join, just drop by the main office to sign in and pick up a name tag. When you're done, you just sign out and drop off your name tag. Join the fun and become a Noble Strider!

Gentle Beginner Hatha Yoga - 2 Week

Join us for a class in Hatha Yoga led by certified instructor, Nancy Cotty from Peace Within Yoga. Yoga is a great way to relax and improve your health and well being. The focus will be on stretching and breathing while building our strength and finding peace. All levels are welcome. Drop-ins are welcome and new students can join anytime. Maine's Death with Dignity Act

Maine’s compassionate end-of-life care option is the subject of a great deal of confusion and false information. Although Maine’s Death with Dignity Act has been in place since September 2019, most patients and medical personnel are still unaware of it. Learn how to talk about it with your doctor, how to comply with the law or how to help a family member who might qualify.

Reiki I Workshop

Reiki - the “Usui System of Natural Healing” - is a Japanese form of stress reduction and relaxation with many benefits. It promotes physical, emotional and spiritual healing by triggering the body's own ability to heal itself.

This workshop serves as an introduction to Reiki. The course presents its history, the basic hand positions, and the Western techniques introduced in the U.S. by Mrs. Takata. It focuses primarily on physical healing through a combination of lecture, discussion, meditation and practice time. You will be attuned as a Reiki I practitioner. You will have an opportunity to both give a Reiki treatment and experience one for yourself, and you will receive a Reiki I Manual and Certificate. There is no prerequisite to this course.

*Required purchase of manual thru teacher $20 at time of class (unless student already owns manual – Reiki – The Healing Touch – First and Second Degree Manual by William Lee Rand)

Hip Opener Workshop

This workshop is designed to loosen and stretch the hip joint so that movement in that area is easier and less tense. We will combine some restorative yoga poses with some that will increase flexibility and strengthen the body (especially the hip joints). Much of what we cover can be done at home after the workshop so you can continue opening the hips and leg muscles on your own.

All equipment will be provided for you. Information learned through yoga classes and workshops should not be considered a substitute for medical advice. 

Psychic-Mediumship Practice Circle

Please bring with you (if you have them): a Tarot or oracle card deck, a pendulum, dowsing rods, a small & meaningful personal object, etc. There will be a limited supply of extras for attendees.

Zumba - 6 Week

Zumba - Fitness and Fun Dance is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. Maribel mixes both low-intensity and high-intensity moves for a calorie-burning dance fitness party. Students of all experience levels are welcome in this class, and Maribel will help show students both low and high impact dance moves to fit students' class goals/abilities. If you’re looking for a no-pressure fitness class that brings lots of fun and energy, then this class is for you!

Bring a water bottle; wear comfortable clothes and indoor shoes with little to no tread to reduce twisting knee joints.
