Angels are all around us and all we have to do to connect with them is to have the intent. In this class, you will begin to explore your own psychic abilities and understand we all have them. With the assistance of Angel Cards, you will learn to communicate with your angels, and find the answers you’ve been looking for! Must bring your own deck of “Doreen Virtue Angel” cards (not Tarot cards) to class. (Senior discount $18)

Chickens are much better than people at composting: they have unlimited patience, pre-installed garden-tool feet, integrated nitrogen/potassium/phosphorus dispensers, and an insatiable urge to scratch. So why not put them to work? While raising chickens for those fresh eggs is rewarding in itself, consider the shovelfuls of compost your chickens can generate with little effort on your part! Join us for this one-night session to learn how your egg-production team can take your compost pile to the next level.

Always dreamed of having an herb garden but not sure how to get started? Have no fear! Growing herbs is an easy and delicious way to start gardening. In this class you will learn to plant and maintain your very own herb garden. From preparing the soil to planting a variety of herb seeds and keeping those fresh herbs healthy, you will learn to harvest and use your herbs to enhance any meal for just pennies! Please bring your own planter or some may be purchased at a low cost. Seeds will be provided.

Timing, moisture, and testing are all components to gardening success. Whether you are planning a vegetable or flower garden, we’ll have some helpful tips for you!

This interactive workshop will equip community members to understand the dynamics of domestic abuse, support safety for victims, and help end domestic abuse in our communities. Includes an interactive skit, an introduction to safety planning, and an overview of the services of Caring Unlimited, York County’s Domestic Violence Resource Center. No prerequisites.
