Get into the festive spirit with this fun, one-night class just in time for the holidays! Learn the bold, colorful art of Bargello needlepoint and create a stylish pair of handmade earrings—perfect to keep or give as a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gift. Join instructor Heather who will guide you through the basics of Bargello stitching, a retro geometric technique that's easy to learn and impossible to forget. Choose your colors, stitch your patterns, and turn your work into wearable art. 

A materials fee of $15 due to the instructor at the start of the class.

Create beautiful landscapes from batik and cotton fabric scraps and embellishments. You do not need an expensive pattern or a kit to make this wall-hanging that you will want to frame. Techniques taught are based on Karen Eckmeier’s original book: “Accidental Landscapes, Surprisingly Simple Quilted Scenes”.

Finish those UFOs (aka unfinished objects) or start a new one. Pick up helpful tips from fellow stitchers and make new friends! Escape those constant interruptions at home with over five hours of sewing and camaraderie. Show and tell is encouraged, and no one is too new to join in the fun! Bring handwork or your sewing machine and supplies. Iron, ironing board, cutting mats and rulers supplied.
