Make a String Quilt
with Judy Boardman

Do you want to learn a fun and easy way to use up those long pieces of fabric scraps you havent in your sewing room? Start gathering your scraps and learn how to make a "String Quilt"! Judy will show you how to take foundation paper and use an easy sew-and-slip technique to attatch the strips of fabric.
This class will be held at the Hanson Elementary School in Lebanon

Sewing & Quilt Weekends
with NACE Staff

Finish those UFO’s or start a new one. Pick up helpful tips from fellow stitchers and make new friends! Escape those constant interruptions at home for over five hours of sewing and camaraderie. Show and tell is encouraged, and no one is too new to join in the fun! Bring handwork or your sewing machine and supplies. Iron, ironing board, cutting mats and rulers supplied.
Class times are as follows:
Friday: 5pm-8:30pm
Saturday: 9am-3pm
Space is limited and based on first come first serve, be sure to register early to save a spot!

Fabric Landscapes Made Easy

NACE is excited to welcome back Elizabeth Chickering to teach some fun daytime classes at Noble!
Learn how to create beautiful landscapes from batik and cotton fabric scraps and embellishments. You do not need an expensive pattern or a kit to make this wall- hanging you will want to frame. Techniques taught are based on Karen Eckmeier’s original book: “Accidental Landscapes, Surprisingly Simple Quilted Scenes”.
(Optional book purchase available from instructor for $21.95)

Zippered Cosmetic/Pencil Case

Do you have a new sewer in the family and want to do a fun class together? Join Chris Fortin in this quick sew project that uses very little fabric. A great class for parent and child to create a project together that can have many uses! This class is great for beginners who have knowledge of sewing machines.
Fee to instructor $3.00 (covers cost of interfacing)

Large Tote Bag
with Christine Fortin

In this class, we will sew up a beautiful 12 x 16 x 6” tote bag with inside slip pockets and magnetic snap closure. This tote includes instructions for how to create a firm base, which adds great structure to your bag. The bag can be done in waterproof canvas, making it the perfect beach bag.This is an intermediate-beginner class.
Payable to instructor on night of class - $5.00 (covers interfacing and snaps)
