Join us for a class in Hatha Yoga led by certified instructor, Nancy Cotty from Peace Within Yoga. Yoga is a great way to relax and improve your health and well being. The focus will be on stretching and breathing while building our strength and finding peace. All levels are welcome. Drop-ins are welcome and new students can join anytime. Every girl deserves at least one dress. Since October 2009, "Dress A Girl Around The World" has reached over 81 countries with a recorded number of over one million dresses delivered to girls in need around the world. Recently, we spoke with the Maine DAG Ambassador, Jane, who is in need of help with sewing menstral pads and dresses for girls in need.

We will be holding 9 sewing dates for those who are interested in volunteering their time to sew. You can stay the whole time or for a few hours; any help is appreciated. If there are more requests for sewing days, we will update that information on our website and social media. Feel free to bring a lunch with you; the sewing room at NACE has a refrigerator you can keep your food/drinks in.

We do ask volunteers to please register for the days they wish to come in and sew to be sure the sewing room and supplies are all ready.

 Join us for a fun, no pressure knitting experience! This knitting class is great for not only beginners, but for anyone who may be a little rusty. You'll learn how to cast on, master the basic and purl stitches, learn some tips and tricks on repairing mistakes, and learn how to read a pattern! Vicky is a passionate knitter and always makes classes fun for her students. 

Materials to bring to class: 
• Size 7 Knitting Needles
• 1 pair of small scissors
• Tape measure
• 1 light color Supersaver Red Heart Yarn (7 Ounces)

Zumba - Fitness and Fun Dance is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. Maribel mixes both low-intensity and high-intensity moves for a calorie-burning dance fitness party. Students of all experience levels are welcome in this class, and Maribel will help show students both low and high impact dance moves to fit students' class goals/abilities. If you’re looking for a no-pressure fitness class that brings lots of fun and energy, then this class is for you!

Bring a water bottle; wear comfortable clothes and indoor shoes with little to no tread to reduce twisting knee joints.

Join instructor Heather who will guide you through the basics of Bargello stitching, a retro geometric technique that's easy to learn and impossible to forget. Choose your colors, stitch your patterns, and turn your work into wearable art.

Spend some sweet time together in this hands-on Mommy & Me Cupcake Decorating Class with instructor Kayla! Designed for parents and little ones to enjoy side by side, this class introduces fun, timeless piping techniques that make decorating cupcakes feel easy, and impressive. Kayla will guide you through simple, professional-style designs so you’ll leave feeling like a pro baker, with beautiful (and delicious) creations to show for it.

Bring a dozen plain cupcakes from home and let the fun begin—we’ll provide the frosting, piping bags, tips, tools, and plenty of sprinkles. Expect creativity, laughter, a little mess, and lots of sweet memories.

• One dozen undecorated cupcakes (per team of 1 adult + 1 child)
• Food coloring (optional, for custom frosting colors)
• Bowls to mix your different frosting colors

New season, new projects!

Join us for a fun and creative wire wrapping class where you’ll learn techniques to create your own beautiful wire-wrapped pieces - no matter your experience level! Whether you’re brand new or looking to sharpen your skills, this class is for you. There will be several projects to select from. Let’s get wrapping and make something magical together! All skill levels are welcome. Please bring round nose jewelry pliers with you if you have them, and you can bring your own stones if you’d like.

A materials fee of $10 per project is due to the instructor at the start of the class. Beth will also have additional jewelry kits available for purchase.

This class will begin with an overview of basic estate planning, including Wills,Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, etc. The class will then delve into,learning how revocable trusts can help avoid probate and protect your privacy, andhow irrevocable trusts can protect your assets from nursing home or Maine Care(Medicaid) liens. Discussion will include other strategies to safeguard assets from life events such as business failure or divorce of adult children.
