Ceramics Benefit: Bowls For the Hungry

Stretch your creativity, learn a new skill, and partner with the Dorcas Society of Lebanon to support our local community! In this two-week class, we will be creating soup bowls that will be sold, with all proceeds to be donated to local food pantries. Join us to create some beautiful bowls for this charitable event and one for yourself! No charge


Ceramics For Adults



Calendar Mar 12, 2018 at 6 pm, runs for 8 weeks

This is an exploratory studio class where you will be taught a variety of exciting techniques to create unique pieces of your own design. All levels, from beginner to expert, are welcome. Learn to use manual and electric wheels, roller, carving tools, and beautiful glazes to bring the pieces you imagine to life. Clay and glaze cost is $40 and can be split between two people. Drop-in fee is $15 per night. Refreshments will be provided!

Calendar Mar 13, 2018 at 9 am, runs for 12 weeks

This 180-hour course will prepare you to work in a nursing home, hospital, or a home healthcare setting. This 12-week class includes preparation for and taking the State of Maine Competency Exam as well as qualifying to work in both Maine and New Hampshire facilities. Prerequisites include: proof of high school completion or senior in good standing, I.D. (driver’s license and social security card), two letters of recommendation, and a reading level of at least 9th grade (assessment will be given as part of the interview process). Cost includes books, lab materials and exam fee.

We hope to be able to offer an evening class if there is enough interest. Currently, we have a waiting list for the evening class. Please call the office 207-676-3223 for more information.

In this complete personal training program you will receive assistance and coaching in both the cardio and weight rooms by a clinical exercise physiologist. Initially you and Sam will work together to set up an individualized plan that meets your fitness goals. Your plan will be modified as you progress to the next level. If you are a first-time student, please call our office (207) 676-3223 for your initial appointment to meet with Sam and set up your fitness plan. Our 10-visit punch card allows you to fit your workouts into your schedule. No senior discount.
