Become a Noble Strider
with MSAD60 Adult & Community Education
Multiple indoor and outdoor walking routes are available on the Noble High School property! The indoor routes range from one-third to one-half mile. If you’re feeling up for a challenge, you may include stairs in your workout. The outdoor routes are closer to a mile in distance. To join, drop by the adult education office to pick up an official Noble Striders tag and sign in. The rest is up to you and your walking buddies. This is a family friendly environment. Snack and nutrition materials provided by the Choose To Be Healthy Coalition.

Welcome to the wonderful world of woodcarving! Be inspired and challenged by the project lessons as you find joy and satisfaction in this wonderful craft. You will complete two projects to develop your carving skills. You will get step by step instructions on how to do basic cuts, sharpen your tools, and develop safe carving techniques. Embroidery for Beginners

No experience required! Come to this class and learn some basic stitches that will open the door to embroidery on cloth or wool. Understand how the right needle and thread can make all the difference. Materials will be supplied, and you only need to bring a pair of fabric scissors and your imagination! Leave with a finished piece you will be proud to display in your home.
Gentle Beginner Slow Flow Yoga - Session 3

Join us for a class in Hatha Yoga led by certified instructor, Nancy Cotty. The focus will be on stretching and breathing while building strength and finding peace. We will stretch the whole body and add some gentle flow to our practice. All levels are welcome. Yoga classes are ongoing. There will be sessions taking us into the late spring. Drop-ins are welcome and new students can join anytime.
Sewing & Quilt Weekend - Session 3

Finish those PhD’s (projects half done), start a new one, pick up tips from fellow stitchers and make new friends! Escape those constant interruptions at home for over eleven hours of sewing and camaraderie. Show and tell is encouraged and no one is too new to join in the fun! Bring handwork or your sewing machine and supplies. Irons, ironing boards, cutting mats and rulers supplied. Registration requires a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15. Senior Discount: $7. One day cost: $10.
Tai Chi For Rehabilitation

This course offers a rejuvenating and energy filled program for mind and body, which combinesthe elements of Chen and Sun styles of Tai Chi, together with powerful qigong. Improve overall health, wellness, focus, stress and tiredness. This is also a great program for those recovering from surgical procedures or heart issues. Follow step-by-step movements that almost anyone can do and empower yourself to take better control of your health! Bring flat bottom shoes, wear loose clothing and come have some healthy fun! Instructor: Dennis Fallo, certified instructor, Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Health Institute.
