Absolute Beginner Yoga - Session 2

Learn the fundamental building blocks of yoga in a comfortable relaxed environment. This class is designed for those with no yoga experience but seasoned yogis or those who have been away from yoga are also welcome. In this class, safe alignment and ease in asanas (poses) is highly encouraged and facilitated through slower paced cueing as well as props and modifications to help your body find the most success in each pose.

Yoga is a great way to relax and improve your health and well being. Join us for a class in Hatha Yoga led by certified instructor, Nancy Cotty from Peace Within Yoga. The focus will be on stretching and breathing while building our strength and finding peace. We will stretch the whole body and add some gentle flow to our practice. All levels are welcome. All equipment will be provided. Information learned through a yoga class should not be considered a substitute for medical advice. Yoga classes have a drop-in fee of $12 per session, where applicable. No senior discount.

Pickleball is a mixture of tennis, ping pong, badminton, and staying out of the “kitchen”. It is a paddle sport designed for all ages and levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn. Join a friendly group who have encouraged us to bring pickleball to NACE who will teach you how to play - we will have equipment for your use. Please carry in your sneakers. Rise & Energize: Nurturing Nature Workshop

Come move your body in ways that will energize, awaken, strengthen and nurture your mind, body and soul. A vinyasa styled class combined with some fluidity of dance with sequences to facilitate muscle integration for greater stability and mobility ending with restorative poses to give you the greatest benefit from the practice. A special focus on movements designed to be supportive for you as you move through the changing seasons - working in your garden, climbing to the tops of those mountains and diving to your deepest depths. Beginners and seasoned yogis are equally welcomed. Props and modifications will be offered. If you love having fun while learning how to move your body in ways that compliment your connection to nature you won’t want to miss this workshop.
