Stretch your creativity, learn a new skill, and partner with the Lebanon Ladies Circle to support our local community! We will be creating soup bowls to be sold, all proceeds donated to local food pantries. Create some beautiful bowls for this charitable event and one for yourself! Each student will learn techniques to manage worry and stress. Learning these skills in combination with visualizations and hypnosis, participants will be able to feel more confident and more relaxed when studying or taking an exam. Each participant will go home with a hand out on the techniques taught in class to ease test worry and a relaxation audio on mp3.

Modern Dowsing

Join dowser Glen Johnson and learn the age-old art of dowsing as well as its uses today. You will be introduced to various dowsing instruments and how they work for you. You may bring your own rods/pendulums or Glen will provide tools for you to use or purchase for yourself. No experience necessary – only an open mind. We will go outdoors weather permitting.

At some point we need to sort and organize those treasured family memories, but where do we start? In this class, we’ll discuss ways to tame those jumbled piles and overflowing boxes of photographs. Writing Creative Nonfiction

Writer and editor Nancy McCallum will lead a monthly class devoted to the process of writing creativenonfiction. Students are encouraged to bring in their work to read aloud and to get feedback. Examples of creative nonfiction include memoirs, profiles, feature stories, blogs, essays, “how-to” books and articles, biographies and histories. Nancy will talk about the importance of establishing your writing voice, in order to become a strong and distinctive writer. She will also provide writing and editing tips and discuss how to get your work published.
