Learn to play the ukulele! It has never been more popular, and you don't even have to know how to read music! On the uke you can knock out folk music, rock, blues, jazz, pop, and country tunes old and new -- even classical music.

Join instructor Duncan Perry on ZOOM, who has taught more than 700 students of all ages, and who will introduce you to essential chords and playing techniques using commonly known songs. Oh, and there are lots of laughs along the way. And, learning to play an instrument is good for your brain! You will need a playable ukulele and an electronic tuner or a tuner app. And when folks hear you play this happy instrument, well, they just have to smile! What are you waiting for? Grab a uke and get ready for a musical adventure, then spread the joy!

Crystals. You've probably seen the growing interest in the use of crystals over recent years as tools for spiritual healing and guidance. Crystal use is thought to date back to the ancient Sumerians. NACE is excited to bring you a new series all about crystals with instructor Nancy. In this series, you will be guided in learning the basics of crystals, how they can be used for healing, and how to use crystal grids.

October 24: Intro to Crystals: Common Crystals + Stones Learning about the use of crystals and stones can be overwhelming. Nancy is here to guide you on the kinds of common crystals and stones that you may have heard about, and their properties and uses.

October 31: Crystals for Healing
Learn how the right crystal can have an effect on you. Crystal properties are all different, and therefore can align to different aspects of your life. Many use crystals for grounding and meditative work. With guidance from Nancy, she will walk you through the properties of crystals and how to use them.

November 7: Crystal Grids
Crystal grids are made using multiple crystals put into a shape that helps to amplify one another and create support for something in a person's life.

Crystals are available starting at $1 per crystal, and payable to the instructor at the start of class.

Come join us as we explore the wonders of clay! You will develop and use it to create unique pieces of your own design through a variety of techniques. You will be encouraged to try the manual and electric wheels, roller, carving tools, and beautiful glazes to bring the pieces you imagine to life. Beginners to experts welcome. There is a max of 8 students per session.

Class scheduled as follows;
Classes 1-4: For creation
Class 5: Prepping pieces for firing
Class 6: Glazing pieces

Clay and glaze cost is $45 due to the instructor at the first class.
