Soup is one of those perfectly versatile foods—it makes a satisfying lunch or light dinner, and is especially welcome on a cold winter day. And homemade soup is time-consuming to make. Luckily, there is a way to preserve your homemade soup recipes by pressure canning them. Join us to learn all about pressure canning, the method used to preserve fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, and other food items. You will learn its safety, history, and canning tools/utensils. Each student will take home a jar of soup. All materials included in cost of class.
