Welcome to the world of Romvong, a traditional Khmer (Cambodian) circle dance! This dance brings people together through rhythm, movement, and joy. In this class we will be learning saravan, lam leav, kbach, as well as other dances! These dances are pretty common in wedding celebrations, New Years, and other occasions. This is a beginner-friendly class where you will learn the basic steps, hand gestures, and move along with the flow of the music. It’s a casual dance class, so wear some comfy clothes and most importantly have fun! This is a great class to learn part of Cambodian culture.
*Please note that these dances utilize a lot of wrist movements.

Learn How Pets Communicate from the Afterlife
with Rob Gutro
Learn how pets in spirit have the ability to send signals to the living, and wait for us in the afterlife. Rob Gutro, medium, paranormal investigator, scientist, and author of the Pets and the Afterlife series (books 1-4) will discuss how to cope with grief after losing a beloved pet. He will identify the signs they give us and the science behind why living pets can sense entities. By the end of the talk, you'll be able to find the signs from your pets in spirit.
Making Sauerkraut and Kimchi

Learn how to make sauerkraut and kimchi using lacto-fermentation! This is an ancient way of preserving food using only salt and water to create the necessary conditions for fermentation. We'll use knives and other kitchen tools to cut up the vegetables, and follow a few time-tested and honed recipes to craft some delicious and healthy food. Every student will make one pint of sauerkraut and one pint of kimchi to take home. All required tools and materials will be provided.

Mystery Granny Squares

Get hooked on the fun of surprise stitches! In this 4-night class, a pattern will be randomly selected with a different granny square pattern each week. We will crochet two of that week’s design. From classic to quirky, no two weeks are the same! By the end of the session, you’ll have a colorful collection of squares ready to be stitched into a one-of-a-kind pillow sham. Students should have a basic knowledge of crocheting.

Low Back Relief Yoga Workshop

This workshop is designed to help strengthen and stretch the low back muscles and abdominal muscles. These two muscle groups work together to form a strong core to support our whole body. The poses that we learn will also open the hips and stretch the back and whole body. We will learn many poses that can be practiced at home.
Join us and learn some poses that can help relieve your tension. All levels are welcome.
Equipment will be provided for you. Information learned through yoga classes and workshops should not be considered a substitute for medical advice.
Ceramics Open Studio

Come join us as we explore the wonders of clay! You will develop and use it to create unique pieces of your own design through a variety of techniques. You will be encouraged to try the manual and electric wheels, roller, carving tools, and beautiful glazes to bring the pieces you imagine to life. Beginners to experts welcome.

Classes 1-4: For creation
Class 5: Prepping pieces for firing
Class 6: Glazing pieces
Clay and glaze cost is $45 due to the instructor at the first class.
There is a max of 15 students per session.
