After being inundated by snow and freezing cold weather, many of us are just dying to get out in the yard and do some gardening. Now that warmer temperatures and plants are coming back to life, it’s time to update and make final plans for your garden.Learn the best methods to open your perennial garden and/or prepare the soil for vegetables. Timing, moisture, and testing are all components to gardening success. Whether you are planning a vegetable or flower garden, we’ll have some helpful tips for you!


Getting to Know Your iPad

Your new iPad came with some cool apps, do you know how to use them? Be sure to bring your fully charged iPad or iPad mini to this class, where we will look at how to turn it on and off, organize icons, change power settings, find and install apps, how to close running apps, and even how to "reboot" your iPad. During thesecond week, you will learn how to copy and paste text and images, how to use the onscreen, or connect an external keyboard, and learn all those little tips and tricks that make surfing the web on your iPad faster and easier. By the third class, you will learn howto use your calendar, manage your contacts, take notes, use your camera, and make video calls with FaceTime. (Senior discount $28)

Your best defense starts with educating yourself, and this class will cover common modes of identity theft, fraud and how to protect yourself. Kristi will also discuss credit scores and help you understand the factors that impact your credit score and how to improve it.
