Rectangular Shaker Style Basket

With the look of simplicity, but many functions, this rectangular woven based basket measures approximately 14” long, 10” wide and 8” high before the handle. Materials fee of $18, payable to the instructor day of class. Max 12 students. Please bring the following to class: Mop size bucket, Sturdy scissors, Spring type clothspins, Pencil, Jack knife, Tape measure, and Spray bottle.
Reiki Level II

This course is offered through Di-Al Reiki at their studio located in North Berwick. The class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. You will learn the Reiki II symbols and how to use them during practice time. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions, the self -treatment, and practice using all the Level II symbols including distant healing. Students will earn a class certificate and CEs and CEUs for nurses and massage therapists are provided. Pre-requisite: must have taken Level I class. Repurposed Sweater Mittens

Come to this class and create a toasty pair of adult size mittens from a well loved sweater complete with a fleece liner. Bring along a wool or wool blend sweater, 1/2 yd fleece, fabric and paper scissors, pins, matching thread and a portable sewing machine if able. Bring a sewing machine, washed wool or wool blend sweater, 1/2 yd polar fleece, thread to match, fabric shears, paper shears, pins. Martha will have extra sweaters and fleece available for a small fee (sweater-$6, fleece - $3) and a sewing machine to share.
Sea Glass Necklace - Session 2

Sea glass artist Nancy McCallum will show you how to create necklaces using sea glass. Nancy will show you several necklace designs. She will teach you how to wrap glass in wire, and also how to use beads and other findings to create your own beautiful necklaces. Nancy will provide sea glass pieces, necklace cord, wire, beads, findings and tools. There is a materials fee of $15, which is paid directly to the instructor.
Sewing & Quilt Weekend - Session 3

Finish those PhD’s (projects half done), start a new one, pick up tips from fellow stitchers and make new friends! Escape those constant interruptions at home for over eleven hours of sewing and camaraderie. Show and tell is encouraged and no one is too new to join in the fun! Bring handwork or your sewing machine and supplies. Iron, ironing board, cutting mats and rulers supplied. Registration requires a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15. Senior Discount: $7.
