Absolute Beginner Yoga, Session 2

Yoga is for anybody and everybody! This class is perfect for anyone who has never tried yoga or has not practiced in awhile. Class takes place in a comfortable, relaxed environment, and Nancy will guide you through basic poses, focusing on proper alignment of the body and breathing. Flexibility is not needed to join any beginner yoga class. All equipment will be provided. Information learned through a yoga class should not be considered a substitute for medical advice. Yoga classes have a drop-in fee of $12 per session, where applicable. No senior discount.

Head to Boston for a day of exploration! Finish up your holiday shopping, visit a museum, explore Faneuil Hall Marketplace / Quincy Market or head over to the Boston Christmas Festival at the World Trade Center. The New England Aquarium is within walking distance, as is the European cultural delight of the North End. Registration minimum of 30 and a maximum of 40. During class, you will make and sample this recipe and then take home a jar of the mix... enough for four batches of pancakes! Class maximum is six teams. Class cost includes all the ingredients and quart canning jar.
Domestic Abuse: How to Recognize and Respond - Session 2

This interactive workshop will equip community members to understand the dynamics of domestic abuse, support safety for victims, and help end domestic abuse in our communities. Includes an interactive skit, an introduction to safety planning, and an overview of the services of Caring Unlimited, York County’s Domestic Violence Resource Center. No prerequisites. This class is free of charge to community members but registration is required at least one week in advance. No charge but must pre-register.
