Come to create a woven bottomed sturdy “D” handled rectangular basket! Add color of your choice to personalize your basket. Materials fee of $16 payable to instructor the night of class. We are looking forward to Martha’s return to NACE to share her creative ideas and unique style. Supply list: mop sized bucket, sturdy shears, tape measure, pencil, 12 spring type clothespins, jack knife, spray bottle, and an old towel.

Gentle Beginner Hatha Yoga - Session 3

Join us for a class in Hatha Yoga led by certified instructor, Nancy Cotty. The focus will be on stretching and breathing while building strength and finding peace. All levels are welcome. Quilt & Sew Weekend #3

Finish those PhD’s (projects half done), start a new one, pick up tips and make new friends! Escape the constant interruptions at home for over eleven hours of sewing and camaraderie. Show and tell is encouraged and no one is too new to join the fun! Bring handwork or your sewing machine and supplies. Iron, ironing board, cutting mats and rulers supplied. Registration requires a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20. Senior Discount: $7. One day cost: $10.

For beginner sewers! This is the ultimate easy quilt! Layered fabric blocks are pieced together with exposed seams then laundered to fray the fabric edges. The result is a fluffy, cozy quilt that is great when you need an extra layer to keep out the chill. This is a quick and easy, no-fail project! The finished quilt is 50” wide and 55” long.

Reiki Level II

This course is offered through Di-Al Reiki at their studio located in North Berwick. The class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. You will learn the Reiki II symbols and how to use them during practice time. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions, the self -treatment, and practice using all the Level II symbols including distant healing. Students will earn a class certificate and CEs and CEUs for nurses and massage therapists are provided. Pre-requisite: must have taken Level I class.
