What’s all the ‘buzz’ about Beekeeping?
Have you ever wondered what it takes to keep honey bees? Join NACE as we welcome Peggy McLaughlin to our program for an introduction to beekeeping class. In this five-night class Peggy will help teach you the basics of hive setup, bee biology, seasonal care, and harvesting honey. We will also welcome a State Apiarist from the Department of Agriculture one evening to give a presentation on the best beekeeping practices, colony, management, and hive registration license. Whether you're considering your first hive or simply want to learn more about these amazing pollinators and the roles that bees play in our ecosystem, this class is a great place to start!
Please purchase The Beekeeper's Handbook, 5th edition by Dianna Sammataro and Alphonse Avitabile before the first class. It can be purchased on Amazon.

Evolutionary Astrology I
with Rob Stewart
”Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards” - Soren Kierkergarrd
Evolutionary Astrology is based on the premise that a soul lives many lifetimes, and suggests your birth chart may provide hidden clues into your multi-life journey. In this workshop we will unpack themes that astrology suggests may have been relevant in past lives as well as themes that may provide opportunities for your personal growth and evolution.
There are no prerequisites for the class. Participants are encouraged to email their birth information (date, place, time) to the instructor, Rob at rob@innercenterastrology.com, prior to the start of the class. He will provide a copy of your birth chart in class. It would be optimal to have your exact birth time available (documented on your birth certificate) but is not necessary.
