The NACE Kindergarten Book Bag Project has been supporting incoming kindergarteners within our community for over 20 years. Our goal is to encourage education within the community, and get future kindergarteners excited about learning! Each bag contains resources for parents and fun activities for kids. This year, for the first time, we will also be making a pencil roll case for our new incoming pre-K students!

Each year, a group of volunteers work together to put these bags together, and with the generous support of local businesses and groups we are able to get supplies to put in the bags. Last year, our team put together almost 200 book bags, with extra to spare!

Volunteers help with: sewing bags, handles, and pencil roll cases, cutting, ironing, turning bags inside out 

Join us for a class in Hatha Yoga led by certified instructor, Nancy Cotty from Peace Within Yoga. Yoga is a great way to relax and improve your health and well being. The focus will be on stretching and breathing while building our strength and finding peace. All levels are welcome. Drop-ins are welcome and new students can join anytime. All equipment will be provided for you. Information learned through yoga classes and workshops should not be considered a substitute for medical advice.

Perfect for musicians, aspiring producers, content creators, and anyone curious about the business behind the music.

From an astrological perspective, Chiron is a small but meaningful asteroid that may describe qualities of one's 'inner child' archetype. Nurturing the archetypal quality of our own younger self might be helpful for self-care and healing. In this class we will unpack the mythology of Chiron and its placement by house, sign, and degree.

There are no prerequisites for the class. Participants have the option to email their birth information (date, place, time) to the instructor prior to the start of the class (rob@innercenterastrology.com) and he will provide a copy of your birth chart. It would be optimal to have your exact birth time available (documented on your birth certificate) but is not necessary. 

Real Estate 101: Laying the Real Estate Foundation course is a fully online introductory course designed for students and adults interested in exploring real estate, personal finance, homeownership, and career opportunities within the real estate industry. This flexible course provides a broad overview of real estate concepts in the United States, including property ownership, financing, contracts, valuation, ethics, and professional communication. Through videos, activities, case studies, and guided instruction, learners will develop practical life and career skills while gaining exposure to one of the nation’s largest industries. This course is academic in nature and does not satisfy Maine real estate licensing requirements.

The Sales Agent Course is a fully online pre-licensing program designed to prepare students for entry into the real estate profession and meet the educational requirements established by the Maine Real Estate Commission for Sales Agent licensure. This flexible online course covers key topics including agency relationships, contracts, property ownership, financing, valuation, federal and Maine real estate laws, ethics, and professional practices. Through guided instruction, videos, activities, quizzes, and exam preparation tools, students gain the knowledge and foundational skills necessary to pursue a career in Maine real estate and prepare for the licensing examination.
